We are Nicholas and Maxine Gilchrist; your Teacher’s and hosts along this prophetic path to leading Spirit led Worship.
Our aim at Adullam is to teach and equip the next generation of Worship leaders, aspiring leaders, and teams to build ‘Houses of Worship’. We will be teaching you how to govern atmospheres strategically, to start fires where the atmosphere has become lukewarm even spiritually dead in some places and shake foundations so that you can possess the gates. We want to equip the worshiper with the original blueprint of worship given by God; “They that worship him, must worship him in Spirit and in Truth.”

We believe we are in our time!! and the time is now; to be obedient to the one who has called us! We have over 30 years experience leading and teaching worship and we are passionate about raising up an army of prophetic worshipers. We are both pastors, so have a solid foundation in the word of God, ensuring that everything we teach is scriptural. We are also prophets and will teach you how to hear the voice of God whilst you lead and boldly declare the prophetic word through song and utterance.

Adullam is a bridge between cultures, to have a fellowship that represents the true family of God!! Removing cultural walls and barriers, having one faith, one church and one sound, the sound of the Kingdom!
As King David drew all sorts of people to the cave of Adullam, God is calling people from all walks of life to be fully equipped for the Kingdom of God and made ready for Christ’s return. Adullam will be a place of impartation and release! Where, through the prophetic gifting of its leaders, the gifts and callings of men and women will be made apparent. We want to see the lives of the people transformed - 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation, old things have passed away, behold all things are made new”.

I really learnt how to let the Lord lead me using the Holy Spirit and the individual sound God has given me and learning to hear his voice in worship.

Course Modules
What is Worship? - This module takes you on a journey to understand what worship really is. We explore the historical and scriptural understanding of worship, benefits of worship and what worship is used for.
The Why of Worship - Part 1 - This module explains to the learner why we worship. The module lays out clearly that worship is a commandment and is connected to not only God’s blessing but also gives the learner insight in how to use the tool of worship in various situations that we in encounter in. We must understand as leaders why worship is an integral part of a believer’s life.
Praise V. Worship - This module gives clear definitions and descriptions on each topic even though the two words are often grouped together. The learner will understand that they are used at different time within a Prophetic Worship service. You will learn to know when to use them and how they are used is crucial to the outcome of leading people successfully in Worship.
Principles for Worship Leaders - This module is about preparation and lifestyle. The learner will learn and understand various principles and practices that not only will bring spiritual growth but will become the worship leader’s lifestyle.
The Seven Hebrew Words for Praise - This module gives a description for the Seven Hebrew words praise, definitions and meanings , where they are used in scripture and when they are used within the service. This module also gives practical examples of live worship that reflects each Hebrew word for praise.
"Bring me a Minstrel" - This module is taught by an anointed and well respected Musical Director, producer and Musician. Nicky Brown brings a great wealth of knowledge and experience to those who play an instrument. This impactful module emphasises the importance of great musicianship, skill and anointing to the worship service.

Who is this worship school workshops/training for?
This training is designed for worship leaders, musicians, vocalists, pastors, tech teams, and anyone involved or interested in worship ministry. All skill levels are welcome.
What topics will be covered during the workshop?

Do I need to be musically trained to attend?
No. While we offer practical sessions for musicians and vocalists, we also provide sessions focused on spiritual growth, leadership, and understanding worship from a biblical perspective.
How long is the workshop/training course?
Depending on the format, it can range from a two day intensive workshop, to a course you can do online at your own pace. Please refer to the schedule for specific dates and times.
Is there a cost to attend?
Some workshops are free, but there is a subscription fee to access the ASOPW . There are two levels; The standard package and VIP package. Check the registration page for pricing details.
Will there be hands-on training or just teaching?
Yes, there will be both. Attendees can request a two day workshop with their teams and will participate in practical session (e.g., playing in a band, sound mixing, leading worship) along with teaching sessions and group discussions.
What should I bring?
You may want to bring to the online School;
- A Bible and notebook
- Your instrument (if applicable)
- Water bottle
- Open heart and expectant spirit!
- A Workbook will be provided.
Are meals or refreshments provided?
Meals may be provided depending on the schedule and venue, I.e at an organised retreat or workshop. Please check the event details or contact the organiser.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, certificates may be available upon request or for those completing the full course.
Can our entire worship team attend together?
Absolutely. We encourage full team participation to foster unity and shared learning.
Will there be opportunities for Q&A or one-on-one mentoring?
Yes. We include dedicated Q&A sessions, and some workshops may offer personal coaching or breakout groups.
How do I register?
You can register online through our website or at the door if space allows at workshops. Early registration is recommended.
